I came to design through luxury retail. Working behind the scenes at The Webster and Christian Louboutin taught me that a great customer moment depends on a lot of quiet systems working together: inventory, timing, and a team that knows what to do. Over time, I wanted to help build those systems, not just keep them running. Louboutin's interactive web experiences showed me what that could look like online. Design had always been a passion, so I started researching, found web design and development, and went on to graduate with Honours from George Brown's Interaction Design & Development program. Now I design and build websites for creative clients, and I'm helping the Kaiso Street Society turn calypso history into something people can explore. What drives me is bridging business, product and design, and taking the time to learn how something really works before deciding what should change. Lately, that's also pulled me toward creative coding and work where the physical and digital meet.

2026Next.js / Airtable
- —Built a tour-dates page for a stand-up comedian's 40+ date international tour, using Airtable as a CMS so his manager updates dates without a developer.
- —Fetched dates server-side with Next.js incremental static regeneration (hourly revalidation), with a static fallback if Airtable is unreachable.
- —Gathered each show's venue-specific ticket link (Eventbrite, Eventim, Etix and others) into one tour list, alongside booking inquiries and email capture.

Sep 2025 – PresentNext.js / TypeScript / Tailwind / Shopify
- —Designed and built a data-driven case-study system showcasing client activations for brands including Ace Hotel, Holt Renfrew, the AGO, Pinterest and Tate Modern, with a documented process for adding new projects.
- —Improved load performance by optimising LCP and image formats and fixing pages that rendered blank until JavaScript loaded.
- —Added automated guardrails (broken image-reference checks, a pre-commit hook blocking oversized media) and upgraded Next.js to a patched release.
- —Extended the Shopify storefront with sorting, product-type filtering and variant image previews; ship all changes through a dev → prod pull-request workflow.

Next.js / TypeScript / D3 / Airtable / Cloudflare R2
- —Built a public, explorable archive from a structured registry: records live in Airtable and are exported to a static dataset by Python scripts, so new artists and works are added without code changes.
- —Designed a community contribution pipeline: uploads pass a bot check into an isolated holding area and go live only after curator review.
